Many of you already know this but I am a member of The Motherhood Society with Beauty & Lifestyle Mommy Magazine. I adore this magazine and love all the goodies and information they have for mommies everywhere. Being a newborn and maternity photographer just makes this even more near and dear to my heart. Honestly, I love all things motherhood and empowering women to be the best we can be!
Exciting News!
Well today after months of waiting I can finally share the news!! Beauty & Lifestyle Mommy Magazine has received an official endorsement from the American Pregnancy Association!! This is an amazing accomplishment for the magazine. I could not be more proud to be a part of this group and I am so honored to be a nationally endorsed newborn and maternity photographer.
The president of APA, Dr. Brad Imler PhD has also joined the Board of Advisors and is a contributing editors to the magazine as well. This is so wonderful!! I am really looking forward to this partnership. It will be really exciting seeing all the good he brings to this community. I feel like this is the perfect partnership of resources for women who are pregnant, trying to conceive, going through a loss and postpartum wellness.
Who is the APA?
“The American Pregnancy Association is a national health organization committed to promoting reproductive and pregnancy wellness through education, support, advocacy, and community awareness. By utilizing a toll-free helpline, the Internet, and patient education materials, the Association is able to deliver instant answers and provide access to resources when women need those most. The Association believes that research is the foundation for significant reproductive discoveries. They also seek to increase awareness of the reproductive and pregnancy needs in our society along with the resources necessary to address these needs.”
If you have not visited their site you really should. They are such a great resource for all things pregnancy wellness and I can’t wait to offer this to my expectant mamas. This will give them another place to go and get some questions answered. I looked around for a few minutes and WOW! I could not believe the wealth of information I found there. They are truly doing good work for women all over the world.
