After all these seniors I have been photographing, it was really nice to be able to do a maternity and newborn photo session. These types of sessions are what got me started in photography and I have to say hold such a special place in my heart. Once I moved to Fort Worth, Texas I found I wasn’t able to do as many due to well…moving but also not having my studio set up right away.
When my daughter’s teacher told me she was pregnant, I was so excited and looked forward to doing her maternity and newborn sessions. I knew how much she had been trying for and wanted this baby. I was beyond blessed to have some small part in creating these memories for her.
A Gorgeous Day
Every photographer out there hopes for a gorgeous day with a gorgeous sunset. And I hit the jackpot that day. We decided to head down to Marine Creek Lake which has a perfect angle towards the setting sun. Sometimes in the spring though the weather can be temperamental and give us some clouds. Not today though. The sun came out in all its glory!! And this mama looked amazing.
Baby Time
Once baby arrived we booked her session and had this sweet newborn girl in the studio when she was just about 20 days old. Well she was perfect and sweet and beautiful. I loved being able to spend time with her and her mom and dad. She was a perfect little model for her pictures and decided to give me some great faces too for the part of her session while she was awake.
