One of the best things for me as a senior photographer is when someone chooses me to take their teen’s senior pictures. I know that it sounds so trivial but it truly blesses me. There are SO MANY photographers in our area that are talented and wonderful so when a client chooses me I get pretty overwhelmed.
Not Just a Job
This “job” that I have is not just a job for me. I truly love what I do. I love my clients and all “my” seniors. Each session just reminds me of why I do what I do and I always walk away so thankful they chose me to capture such a special moment.
A Great Family
I met Valyn’s family through soccer at Boswell High School. My son Connor, plays soccer with Valyn’s young brother and has for the last three years. Valyn’s parents have become friends and are just so much fun to be around. They are just so kind so it was no surprise that Valyn was just as amazing as the rest of her family.
Session Day
Valyn and her family chose my Varsity Senior Session package which includes two locations. I love that package and the variety that comes with it. Our first location we chose was Sundance Square in downtown Fort Worth. This is really one of my favorite places to have sessions. Valyn is sweet and gorgeous and I loved getting to know her. We walked around and experienced downtown and the colorful people that hang out there while grabbing some great pictures.
Off to the Falls
Airfield Falls is another super great location to have sessions at. This time of year there are always a ton of photographers holding sessions there but we were able to find some great spots and get all the photos we needed. It ended up being a great session and I loved spending time with Valyn and her mom.
