Sometimes there are parents that do so much for our students. Ashley is amazing and gave back so much to our football players and the high school football booster club. It’s really a thankless job and involves SO MUCH work that most people have no idea. I worked with her on the football program and was so honored to take her son’s senior pictures this year.
“Sportraits” Time
Sport Portraits are something I REALLY love to do. They are so much fun and stray so far from a traditional senior photo session. They are unique and gritty and just so cool. Nate has played football all four years of high school and was on Captain’s Council his varsity year. He is a tough player and so much fun to watch. So, of course, we had to grab some football pics. We met up at the Varsity locker room with another friend and created some fun portraits. And in case you were wondering…the locker room is not for the faint of heart. LOL
Senior Session Day
So spring in Fort Worth is really ridiculous. It can be hot one day, like scorching hot, and 50 degrees the next day. And the wind can be crazy. Well Texas decided to give a cold, cloudy and windy day. Thankfully Nate has short hair. LOL We decided Trinity Park would be the place for us today. It’s a fun park with lots of “backgrounds” for pictures.
Back to School
Our second location for our session was back at Boswell High School, where he goes to school. Football in Texas is a big deal so we have a pretty cool stadium and wanted to take some pictures there. He had his Letter Jacket and a super cool football (that his mom made!!) that he wanted to incorporate into his session. It ended up being perfect jacket weather and I loved our session and getting to know Nate a little bit more, not to mention getting to hang out with his mom, Ashley, who is pretty great! I have the best clients…seriously.
Check out some of my favorites from our session.
