Newborn photography is really one of my favorite things to do. I mean I really love it. So much so that I can’t even believe it is an actual job that I get to do. What makes this session extra special to me was that Little D is not the first in his family to come for a photo session, his older was in just a few short years ago. Where has the time gone?! I love it and feel so blessed when clients come back and see me because I know that there are a lot of photographers out there to choose from that are loaded with talent.
When his mama first booked her session, I had so many things I wanted to do. With Christmas being around the corner I was hoping to be able to show off some of my new props I had just bought for newborns along with a couple other fun setups. This family is just so fun and laid back I knew that I wanted to create something that just complemented them and their style. This gorgeous mama and I just hit it off when we first met and I love it when that happens. I felt like I have known her forever. She is humble and kind and sweet. So it is really no surprise that her children are just as wonderful. Her firstborn has grown into a lovely little man with a sweet smile.
D’s Newborn Session was here
This little guy slept like a champ through all the family pictures and even some adorable sibling pictures. You can see the joy on his older brother’s face in the images. This just pulls on my heart strings. D then had a quick snack and was off to sleep again. Seriously, this little guy was awesome. We were able to photograph him in a couple of my props, get my Christmas pictures, shots on the bean bag and even got some great pictures of him (safely) in a tool box that had some special meaning for dad. It makes it extra special when parents bring something with sentimental value to our session. Needless to say, I was super excited about his session.
Isn’t he just the cutest? I wanted to keep him all day but I am sure that his mama would miss him. So I let him go home. I always have a tendency to take way too many pictures. Narrowing it down was so hard. I had so many favorites. These were just a few. Feel free to show him some love. <3
