Some newborns like to sleep and some do not like to sleep at all. My daughter was one of those non-sleeping varieties and it made for a long day at times. LOL But some newborns can be light sleepers or heavy sleepers, sensitive to touch or sleep through a storm. It is the nature of this business and I love it. I really enjoy getting to know all these sweet babies who come to see me because each one has their own little personality and character traits. It truly is a miracle how they are their own person even right from the beginning.
Miss A’s Session
Little Miss A was just such a pleasure to have in the studio. Not only was she completely adorable but she had such a unique and fun personality. She was definitely one of my non-sleepers and that’s ok. I don’t get many of those but when I do I really enjoy getting to see their sweet personalities. Miss A was a happy little girl and probably the strongest newborn I have seen to date. I am a pretty good wrapper and, usually, never have an issue getting these sweet newborns all snuggly but this little lady gave me a run for my money. She was able to get her little arms or legs out almost every time. Almost….. LOL Yes I did win in the end but it was so much fun working with her and learning how she liked to move her little body.
