This session is definitely a special one for me. Getting moved to Fort Worth and getting my home studio set up was a labor of love to say the least. But for the first time in my professional career I have my own designated studio. I love it!! Just not have to set up and break down every little thing for every session has been great. Of course I hadn’t had a chance to try it out…not until I heard from this sweet new mama.
Getting Ready
When Mckenna reached out to me for a session I was actually kind of surprised. LOL Most of the newborn inquiries I was getting were still coming in from Washington. I was pleasantly surprised to learn she lives right here in Fort Worth and right up the road from me too. Needless to say when she booked I had a bit of scrambling to do to get ready. My studio was ready but I realized that I got rid of all my backdrop paper before we moved. Crisis averted, thankfully.
Session Day
I was happy to learn that Mckenna also has a daughter that goes to the same school as my daughter. I was able to meet her as well as her husband and (of course) her new baby girl who all came for some family pictures. I love being able to offer family pictures during a newborn session. Well our session went great and her sweet baby girl was just a dream to photograph. I had so many favorites.
