One of my favorite things is customizing a unique newborn photo session for my clients. I love it. I can get creative and really design something you will love. Once my clients fill out their newborn questionnaire, I review it along with all of my notes and the wheels start turning in my mind for how I want it to look and the studio goodies I want to use. I have quite a bit to choose from these days but really most everything I have goes along with color and styles that I love.

Something New

So this particular client came to me for a maternity session as well and we really hit it off. (I have the best clients, seriously.) We had talked a little bit about what she was looking for out of her newborn session but was a bit vague. When it came time for me to get ready I just pulled out some goodies I thought she would like but ended up with quite a variety for her to choose from. LOL

After they arrived, we start chatting and I show her what I picked out. She looks right at me and says, “I love your style and go ahead and use whatever you would like!” I was shocked a bit. I always want to make sure that my clients 100% love their images, colors etc. This does not happen very often. Most everyone has a preference on colors etc and that’s ok. But I have to say that I was completely honored that she loved my style so much that she gave me complete creative freedom.

What to Choose

My style really focus on rich earthy colors and textures. So most everything in my studio falls in that category somewhere. I had a few things I wanted to use and I have to say I think they turned out pretty good. Take a peek at some of my favorites from our session. I had a hard time not choosing to show them all. <3
