Maternity Session at Gold Creek Pond | Seattle Maternity Photographer
May 5, 2020 By  Stephanie With  0 Comment

This maternity photo session was such a special one for me. I’ve known this amazing couple for a while now and they are such a blessing to my kids and I. When I found out they were having a baby I immediately reached out and wanted to do a session with them. We talked about my vision for them and even though it was a bit of a hike for them, they loved it. We set the date and picked the dresses. Eight in all!!! I couldn’t wait for our session.

Session Day

Of course, we headed up to my favorite mountain, Gold Creek Pond, and my favorite flower field was blooming.I do wish the sun was shining though. This mama had picked out 7 dresses that she loved and I threw in one I wanted her to try. She was on the fence with that one but I just had a feeling. LOL

The Flower Field

This gorgeous field is right on the way to the pond and is right off of a dirt parking lot. You would never know by looking at it though. I was thankful for that because I hate having my expectant mamas do too much of a walk. The dresses we used for this portion of the session were just a perfect fit for the mountains.

The Pond

The Pond is my favorite spot. Once we got to the parking lot we chose the dresses for this section and started walking. I joked that there is no going into labor while we are out here. I am not skilled enough to deliver a baby. HAHA (And the walk is easy and flat, in case you were wondering). The rest of the session was amazing and they are a beautiful couple! When mama put on the dress I brought, dad looked at me and said…”this one is my favorite!” I agreed. She looked amazing. Check out some of my favorites from our photo shoot.
