This was a senior photo session that I had been looking forward to for a couple of reasons. Well the first being I love being a photographer and it’s super fun. But the next reason is I was going to get to photograph two seniors at once and they are twins. Now twins are cool. I love getting twin newborns too but that hardly ever happens so twin seniors was exciting.
I had met Luke previously when I photographed the Theater Officers for the high school a while back. He was nice and funny and not to mention tried saving me from the biggest bee on Earth. You can read the blog HERE if you are interested.
He mentioned to me he still needed senior pics and so did his sister. I let him know to give me a call so we could set something up. Mom reached out and she is just so super nice. I was excited to meet her. We talked about what her kids are interested in and where we would like to do our session. We opted for the Stockyards in Fort Worth.
Now this is a cool place and something that is iconic to our area and just screams Texas. I am not sure what was going on down there on session day but I have never seen this place so crowded. I was a little worried about finding places without a ton of people in the background. But with a bit of exploring I think we were able to find some awesome spots. Only a couple of times did I have to wait for the crowd to pass.
Luke and Ripley showed up with their cowboy hats and boots on and I have to say that I loved it. They really let their personalities shine and are great young people. I loved spending more time with Luke and getting to know Ripley. She is gorgeous, laid back and sweet and has a smile that just lights up a room.
We opted to do the second location of our session at another time since it was getting late and was super cold outside. I can’t wait for our park date coming up here soon. Check out some of my favorites from our Stockyards session.
Now booking Seniors Class of 2024 but I still have some space for the current class if you still need images done. Reach out to me HERE to learn more and get your date on my calendar.
