I hadn’t lived in Fort Worth very long when I met this sweet gal named Laura. We quickly became friends and I just think the world of her and have even gotten to know her children. Four girls which are all totally awesome. Each of whom are gorgeous and unique and so much fun to be around. Her oldest daughter Ava was about to be a Senior in high school and I was so excited to be able to do her senior pictures.
Session Time
Life gets busy sometimes and pictures get pushed back. That is ok though. Ava is in Theatre and is an Officer and that kept her so busy during the year. But we can do senior sessions all the way through a teen’s senior year. Since in Texas yearbook pics are done through a contracted company and have to look a certain way, we are not under certain time constraints like some places. We ended up having Ava’s session in the spring. The weather was perfect and the flowers were out in full force.
A New Location
For this particular session we decided to head into Fort Worth. Well downtown to be more exact. Fort Worth is a massive city that sprawls like 350 square miles with almost a million people living here…but I am getting side tracked. Anyway, we are out in the Saginaw area which is in the northwest corner of the city. Downtown is only about 20 minutes from here so it’s not too bad of a drive. For our session we decided for the first location (because you get two with a senior session) we would go down to the Foundry District just off the western edge of downtown. It was definitely a new favorite with so much personality which was perfect for Ava.
Looking Forward
Since we waited until spring to do her session, we were able to get some cap & gown pics too. These are always my favorite. The teens are excited about graduating and starting a huge new chapter in their lives. And I am excited for them, not to mention so proud. I know I know…they aren’t my kids but I can’t help it. I have the BEST seniors!! Ava is heading off to college in the Fall and I am looking forward to seeing her flourish! Congratulations Ava!!
