One of my favorite things is when families come back to me for repeat sessions. I am so honored to be your senior photographer once but twice means more to me than you could ever know. Seriously. So thank you so very much. <3
A couple of years ago I met a family with a senior named Briana. I met her with the theatre officers I photograph up at the local high school and was honored when she chose me to capture her senior pictures. Briana was kind, beautiful and wonderful, not to mention has an amazing singing voice. At her session I was able to meet her mom, who is just as wonderful and her younger sister.
Sister’s Turn
Brooklyn is gorgeous and kind and funny. I had the opportunity a couple of years ago to capture her playing soccer and to get to know her a little bit better. And I just have to say this whole family is pretty great. When mom reached out to me, at the beginning of the school year, to capture Brooklyn’s senior pics I was just so happy to oblige. I could not wait for our session.
Session Day
When I book a session, we always chat about what the teen has in mind for their session. Some have a certain vision and others really don’t. Both are fine and I am happy to offer suggestions to anyone who wants them. Brooklyn had a location picked out and saw some pictures online that she loved.
We decided to head over to Trinity Park. They have this super cool train track and old wooden bridge that I thought would be perfect for pics. If only we had snow to really capture a cool moment but we live in Texas and the chance of snow is unlikely. Sadly. The park ended up being perfect and really fit Brooklyn’s personality and outfit choices not to mention lots of locations around the park for unique “backdrops”.
Next Up
All my full senior sessions include two locations. The next location we decided one was one of my favorites. We decided on Marine Creek Lake at sunset. The weather was perfect and not too hot and we got there with plenty of time to grab some great pics and a few right as the sun went down.
Needless to say, it was a great day and I truly loved spending my afternoon with Brooklyn and her sweet mom. I have the best job and never take one moment for granted.
Check out a few of my favorite images from our session.
