Back In November, I had a booth at a vendor fair/craft show at Boswell High School here in Fort Worth. These shows are fun but hit or miss when it comes to meeting people sometimes. This one was great and I met some really nice families. I do enjoy doing them once in a while.
Meeting the Family
This is where I met Ava and her sweet mom. They came by my booth and were talking about having a senior photo session and some of the things that interested Ava. Her mom mentioned to me that she was interested in having a session inside of a library and I thought that was the coolest idea. I am a huge bookworm so that really appealed to me.
Session Day
There are tons of libraries around here but the one they chose was the library in downtown Fort Worth by the TCC campus. I called ahead and spoke to the manager to make sure we would be allowed inside and not disturbing anyone. The gal was super nice and even more appreciative that I called ahead.
The library was quiet and peaceful and had terrible lighting. LOL But that never deters me and we came up with some great and creative shots. Ava had some ideas in mind and I was more than happy to oblige her ideas and see them into fruition.
Next Stop
The second location for her photo shoot was Eagle Mountain Park which I love. We spent a ton of time at the library so once we got to the park we moved a bit faster to try and beat the sun. We got some perfect sunset pics and the outfits she chose for this portion were perfect. Ava is a sweet and beautiful young lady and I just loved being able to photograph her and hear about her life!!
Check out some of my favorite images from our session. I had so many and it was hard to choose!
