At my maternity photo shootout over the summer I had the privilege of meeting some pretty amazing mamas. I think I had almost as much chatting with these gals as I did photographing them. When a few weeks later, one of the mamas reached out for a newborn session for her baby that was due in August and of course, I was more than happy to oblige.
Almost Time
We kept in touch as things progressed with her pregnancy and she contacted me right after her beautiful baby girl was born. We set a date and I was really looking forward to seeing her again. I just had a feeling that her baby was going to be stunning. Viri was a beautiful pregnant mama. Check her out …isn’t she gorgeous?!
Session Day
When they arrived, my first remark was “you don’t even look like you had a baby!” Seriously, she looked amazing. I have such beautiful mamas that come to see me. Wish I looked that good after I had a baby. I felt like a hot mess 100% of the time. Anywhooooo, baby S was just perfect. Perfect skin. A ton of thick hair and completely adorable. She was such a good little lady and I loved being able to photograph her. When I am doing a newborn session one of my favorite images to capture is the family picture because seeing the love new parents have for their baby is a pretty special thing to be a part of.
