Now the story of this little man’s arrival is not something I will soon forget. Lots of mamas have great stories of their labor and delivery but this one is pretty great. I have been friends with Jessica for quite a while and I was so honored to be able to capture her maternity and newborn pictures for her. We decided the mountains was where we wanted to be and so we hiked up to my favorite spot and did her session. If you are interested, you can see that blog post by going HERE.
I MIGHT have Ruined her Shower
I may have jinxed myself at her maternity session. The walk was minor and no hills but we joked around that now that her sessions as done she was free to have her baby. But of course she was still four weeks away so we laughed and continued on. After her session, I gave her a hug and told her how excited I was for her baby shower and would see her the next day.
Welp…….on my way to the shower I received the note from mama. Baby was on his way and she would NOT be making it to the shower. She went into labor 30 minutes after she got home from our session. Ummmm I am so glad that she did not go into labor while we were up in the mountains. Needless to say everyone gave me a hard time. I swear it was not my fault. LOL
Baby’s Day has Arrived
Mr N’s newborn session day had arrived and I could not wait to meet him. This little guy was an answer to their prayers and he arrived exactly when he was supposed to. He was perfectly healthy and perfectly adorable and I was beyond honored to be able to be a part of their journey.
He was just so good and sweet and snuggly I could have photographed him all day long. Take a peek at a few of my favorites from our time together!! Welcome to the world sweet boy. We are beyond excited to have you here.
