Not all newborns that come to visit me here in the studio get pictures taken with their families which is ok, of course. I know how hard it is getting out of the house after you have a baby and how hard it is to get motivated to get dressed up on top of it. But I do have to say that I love doing them. I love seeing the connection between mom and dad and their sweet newborn. Not to mention, seeing the love between an older sibling and a new baby. Sibling love is such a special thing to see. Being able to capture that feeling in photos just makes my heart happy. <3

Sibling Love is the Best

Seeing the bond between siblings is wonderful, especially when it is two sisters. You just can tell they are going to grow up and be best friends. I never had a sister but my brother and I are super close. He’s awesome. Anywho…I loved watching sweet T love on and cuddle baby R. She was showering her with kisses and hugs. T was such a good girl and I just enjoyed having her in the studio so much. Not only did I get some great pictures of the girls but I was able to sneak in a few of mom and dad too. Mom is so kind and sweet and just looked so beautiful. She had a smile that just lit up the room. These little ladies are lucky to have such wonderful parents.

Sneaking in some Newborn Cuddles

Once our parent and sibling pictures were done we were on to capturing some pictures of sweet R all by herself. I may have snuck in a cuddle or two here and there. She was so good for her session and when she wasn’t asleep would just hang out and enjoy getting her picture taken. Many poses are best done when the baby is asleep but I have to say I love it when I get a few pictures of them awake. Look at her beautiful eyes! She was so content to relax and let me take her picture. One of my favorite things about this session was seeing a gorgeous little lady in blue. I had some beautiful blue basket fluff and was so excited to be able to use it. I think R looks fabulous and I love the colors mom chose for her session.
