Newborn photo sessions are my favorite. I love working with these tiny little miracles shortly after they are born. But they are not easy. Babies each have their own personalities and nuances right from the very beginning. I enjoy getting to know each little baby who comes to me. It really is a miracle. Some babies like to sleep and some don’t. Some are super sensitive to touch and noise and some sleep through the entire session. They each have their own growth spurt times and tolerance for certain poses. And those things don’t even start to touch the tip of the iceberg for the all physical and health components and newborn safety (but I’ll leave that for another time) that is imperative to know for each session. It is something that I have spent years learning and still feel like there is always more to learn. But I enjoy the process and am always excited for the next little one to come in.
Session Time
Sweet baby K came to visit me in the studio and he was all smiles. Not to mention, he is completely adorable. I had some really fun ideas for his session. Some he loved, others not so much. LOL But what can you do? Babies will do what they want. They do dictate the sessions, after all. We had a great session with Mr K though and I had so much fun during our time together. I am so thankful they came to spend some time with me and allowed me to capture him during this precious time.
