So I love maternity sessions. Maybe because I never had any of my own and regret it. But either way I love doing them. I was super happy when this gorgeous mama responded to a call that I had put out. There were a few dresses that I wanted to photograph and had some ideas in mind. She was more than happy to indulge me.
Session Day
When this mama reached out I was really excited to tell her about my ideas for this session and she was on board. And then she showed up and I may have done a small dance of glee!! Not only was she sweet and gorgeous but she had the most amazingly beautiful red hair. I had not actually had a gal in the studio before for a maternity session with her shade of hair. I have had a few babies but not a mama so this was going to be fun. Not all colors look good on red haired mamas so I changed up what I was going to photograph just a little.
Picture Time
The main dress I wanted photographed was a stunning Sew Trendy dress that was wine colored. I was not sure about it at first but when she put it one I knew we had a winner. I LOVED this color on her so much. So for the rest of the session I went a little daring with my color choices for her and I had to say I am super happy with how they turned out.
