Meeting Up

I really love getting to know my clients. Especially when they are going to be with me for a while. Stephanie came to see me for newborn and milestone photos and ended up booking the maternity to first birthday package. My Belly to Birthday package is something I love because I feel like it gives me the opportunity to really get to know my clients. This is definitely my favorite part about this job. Being able to be a part of their journey is pretty special and something I do not take for granted. Anyway, Stephanie and I met for coffee to talk about her upcoming session and go over some ideas for session planning. Once we met, I knew this was a gal that I really liked. She is funny and sweet and kind. I could not wait for our session.

Maternity Session Day

Stephanie had come over a few days prior to our session to try on a few of my maternity gowns so she would have an idea as to what to bring for herself and what she liked. We picked two that we loved. Having her pick her gowns out early also helped her coordinate her family’s outfits ahead of time.

Maternity photo sessions really are some of my favorite types to photograph. I love being able to pamper these mamas a bit too. Pregnancy is hard enough with all that goes on with our bodies. Being able to make Stephanie look and feel as beautiful as she is was the highlight of my day. Doesn’t she look gorgeous?!

One thing I also love to capture is sweet kids with their mamas and seeing their excitement over a new sibling on the way. Belly hugs are the best.
