Each time I book a senior photo session, I talk with the teen and usually mom to get to know the senior a little beforehand. I love to hear what they are interested in and what their hobbies are. This really helps me to build something unique and is one of my favorite thing to do for each session.
Session Day
When we planned our session, we decided to use the family’s backyard as our first location. I usually don’t use a backyard since other houses aren’t always the most flattering backgrounds for pictures BUT…..their yard was awesome. They had so much land and a beautiful pool. It ended up being perfect. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. We got some great shots!
A Unique Ask
For a second location, TJ asked me if I could take some pictures of him jet skiing. I love good action shots and adding sports pics to a session so I was all for it. The weather was great but not super warm. He was a trooper and out on the lake on his jet ski. We had a ton of fun and it was awesome to let his passion for this sport shine into his photo session.
