I have such a heart for maternity and newborn sessions. That is what I started out doing as a photographer 12 years ago. I love doing them and think motherhood is such a wonderful adventure and the most important thing I have ever done. I love to celebrate the journey and new life. And being able to cuddle a brand new baby is pretty special.
New Mom
Sweet Rebecca is someone I had known for a couple of years and have actually done a few photo sessions for her before. When she let me know she was pregnant and having a baby I was so excited to be able to capture this special time for her.
Maternity Session
As she got closer to her due date we talked often and planned how we wanted her session to look and feel. I met her boyfriend and he was just so kind as well. We looked over my maternity dresses and she picked a couple to wear. We also decided that we would head up to Eagle Mountain Park. I loved the idea of the rustic earthy vibe with how pretty and feminine Rebecca is. She’s a young new mom too so we made sure to add a bit of sass to her images.
Baby is Here
When baby Waylon arrived we had them all here in my home studio and just spent the morning getting pictures and a few baby snuggles. He was a such a good baby and I loved the images we were able to capture. He really looked good in every set up we did. Mom and Dad were tired but happy and I am looking forward to watching them become such good parents. Waylon is a lucky little guy.
