So most of the guys that come to me for senior photo sessions are being forced. LOL I think this one was an exception and I love that. I always try and make sessions fun and painless, especially for guys.
Meeting Up
Once we got our session booked we opted to meet in downtown Fort Worth at Sundance Square for the first location. Now this location is really fun. It has so many different locations for pictures. It really gives me a variety for their galleries so I get excited when families choose this location.
I walked into the Starbucks and took one look at mom and decided that she is gorgeous and looks like there is no way she could have a teenage son. LOL Anyway….Joseph popped right up and started chatting with me. I knew this session was going to be fun.
Session Time
Walking around with Joseph I knew he was going to be “my kind of people”. His sense of humor and outgoing-ness (is that a word?) was awesome. Throw in a bit of sarcasm and there you go. 🙂 He was open to exploring down alleys and my posing direction. I also loved it when he said “this pose doesn’t feel natural. I’m not a leaner.” LOL The most important thing to me in a client’s session is that they feel the images reflect who they are as a person.
Up Next
For our second location he wanted to head to the Stockyards. I know I have said this before but I love this location. It’s a fun place and iconic to Fort Worth. We walked around and found some great places. He even brought his letterman’s jacket which is always a great choice for senior pics.
Check out some of my favorites from our senior session.
I am now booking Seniors Class of 2024 but still have some space for the current graduating class. Reach out to me HERE to learn more and get your session date on my calendar.
