Meeting and being able to photograph this gorgeous mama-to-be was such an honor. I mean, seriously, look at her. But I have to say that not only is she beautiful on the outside but she is kind and funny and just as beautiful on the inside. She is going to make such a great mom. I really love maternity photography. The ability to capture these times in a woman’s life is amazing. Having a child (or four!) is the best thing I have ever done and I wish I looked this good pregnant.

When Melissa and I were scheduling her appointment and talking about locations she mentioned to me that she would love to do some shots at her parents home in Sammamish, which worked out perfectly since that is where I live. She said she wanted to do this for them. I thought it was such a neat idea. Her parents backyard was the perfect setting for our shoot!
