Having a session for one newborn is no easy task but twins is a completely different story. I love doing those types of sessions and jump at the chance whenever I can. Newborn sessions for multiples are usually scheduled for 4-5 hours due to the fact that there is two babies instead of one. Having a ton of patience is a requirement and an extra set of hands doesn’t hurt. Usually mom or dad fill that role for me though. I have found that most parents love being a part of the process which is a huge blessing.
Session Day
The twins are each their own little person and it’s so fun being able to see the differences in their personalities. This little boy and girl twins were no exception. Not only did Miss A look like her mama but Mr C looked just like his daddy. Since little miss and little mister decided not to really want to be asleep at the same time we had them take turns in front of the camera. They both did amazing. I loved being able to capture them not just together but separately as well.
Eventually they got sick of me and gave me a bit of time when they slept at the same time, I plopped them together and grabbed a few shots. Mr C just absolutely loved being next to his sister. As soon as we put them next to each other he would just want to be touching her all cuddled up. It was so adorable seeing their connection. They are going to have such a special and wonderful bond as they grow up. Take a peek at some of my favorites from their session.
